Olivia Wilde Returning For ‘House’ Series Finale

According to Reuters.com, Olivia Wilde is set to return to “House” for the show’s series finale on May 21st!

Original co-star Lisa Edelstein left the show before the eighth season began, and Olivia Wilde left the series in October to focus on movies.

Wilde is scheduled to return for the series finale, which will be directed and co-written by series creator David Shore, but the network has not announced whether or not Edelstein will return for a House/Cuddy reunion.

‘The Words’ Gets A Distributor At Sundance

In the first major deal of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, CBS Films has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the Bradley Cooper drama The Words for $2 million, EW has confirmed. About a struggling writer who becomes a literary megastar after he passes off a lost manuscript as his own, the film also stars Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Irons, Olivia Wilde, and Dennis Quaid, and is the directorial debut for co-writers Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal. The deal includes an additional $1.5 million for print and advertising.

The Words is actually the closing night film for the festival, but it sparked a bidding war after a private screening on Saturday. CBS Films is eyeing a release this fall.

A source at the “Saturday Night Live” after-party at Pranna Restaurant and Lounge last weekend tells us the funnyman was more than happy to show off his new lady, Olivia Wilde, to fellow partygoers, who included that week’s host Jimmy Fallon, surprise guest star Jude Law, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett and Lorne Michaels. Sudeikis and the 27-year-old actress grabbed food together and were “obviously very into each other,” says the source, who adds that photos of them were not permitted. Fallon, a “SNL” alum, also graciously bought shots for the show’s staff and interns.
